Heat Recovery
Air-handling equipment recovers heat from exhausted air and transfers it to incoming air.
Rainwater Collection
Water collected from the roof and stored in a cistern is used to irrigate plants in the greenhouse.

Fume hoods use sash position and occupancy sensors to conserve air flow and save energy.
Daylighting
Windows, interior courtyards, and borrowed light allow daylight to
permeate much of the building.
