Grinnell is a stronger community because individual people dedicate their own time, effort, and energy to projects they care about passionately. The Office of Community Partnerships, Planning, and Research oversees two programs that support individual employees who want to make a difference in our community:
Volunteer Initiative Program (VIP) For Employees
Give With Time
The Volunteer Initiative Program encourages employees to volunteer in those projects that they feel most passionate about while allowing them to direct some of the College's contributions at the same time.
Give Local Grinnell Program — Building Better Together
Give With Money
Giving through the Give Local Grinnell Program through payroll deduction is a great way to make a gift to the organizations that make a difference in Grinnell and our local communities.
Check the Campus Memo
In addition, through the College's support for local nonprofit groups, we sometimes receive free tickets to local community shows and performances, which our office then makes available to employees through special drawings. So read the Campus Memo and watch your inbox for these announcements throughout the year!
