Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Divisional Offices

Grinnell College has a long legacy of “a diverse community” as one of its core values. In 2020, the College’s chief diversity officer position transitioned from an appointed, three-year faculty position to a full-time administrative role that joined the College’s Senior Leadership team as the vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Bringing together existing offices and staff from across campus, and creating new roles where needed, has created greater focus and more concerted efforts to provide increased services and support for students, staff, and faculty.
