Grinnell College will stream “Cinderella” on Jan. 5 as part of the Met’s 2021-22 Live in HD season. The Office of Community Partnerships, Planning, & Research is offering free tickets at the door to all attendees which is made possible through The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This event is free and open to the public.

As part of the Grinnell College public events concert series, Las Cafeteras will perform at Herrick Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 7p.m.

Grinnell College will stream “Eurydice” on Dec. 4 as part of the Met’s 2021-22 Live in HD season.

Grinnell College will stream “Fire Shut up in My Bones on Oct. 23 as part of the Met’s 2021-22 Live in HD season. 

Grinnell College will stream Mussorgsky’s “Boris Godunov” on Oct. 9 as part of the Met’s 2021-22 Live in HD season.

Givens will present "The Fugitive Life of Black Teaching: A History of Pedagogy and Power" at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021 in Humanities and Social Studies Center, Room A1231.

Grinnell College will award honorary degrees to the following individuals making major contributions to the fields of science, humanities and social science.  

Grinnell College will host an in-person, outdoor commencement ceremony for graduating seniors on Friday, May 28, 2021, at 10 a.m. In light of current and projected community health conditions, we will not be able to invite families or guests including faculty, staff, and first-year through third-year students to attend this year's commencement.

Katie Bouman, whose algorithm led to the first image of a black hole, will give the 2020 Commencement address.
