The Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) Program supports up to four internships that deepen students' understanding of the causes of violence and violations of human dignity and give them direct experience applying creative strategies for conflict prevention, resolution, or reconciliation in international, intergroup, or interpersonal disputes.
Grinnell College students interested in applying for a Grinnell College summer internship grant should follow the guidelines, procedures and deadlines provided by the Center for Careers, Life, and Service (CLS).
The PACS selection committee will review the applications and conduct interviews with applicants. Notification of approval or denial will be made by the CLS.
The PACS internships are generously supported through a gift from Tedford Lews ’40 and Leonard Kurz ’75.
