Academic Opportunities
Research and Projects
Majors are encouraged to participate in research projects with faculty in biology or chemistry. All of the instrumentation in both the biology and chemistry departments is available for research projects of biological chemistry majors. Current Grinnell College students will find a list of research opportunities on the Science Division GrinnellShare site (login required). You will find descriptions for research projects with professors on campus, as well as a number of off-campus opportunities.
Awards, Grants, Scholarships, and Fellowships
Visit the Center for Careers, Life, and Service for information on internship opportunities and many scholarships, including Gates Cambridge Scholarship, Marshall Scholarship, Mitchell Scholarship, and Rhodes Scholarship.
