The Rosenfield Program provides funding for internships across the globe (in-person and virtual) allowing students to explore career paths in public affairs, international relations, and human rights.

2023 Rosenfield Program Internships
Marina Amorim Ananias ’26 will be interning at SESI Alagoas in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil. Her primary objective is to enhance the organizations’ international relations. She hopes to empower students by providing them with information about international opportunities and helping them understand the necessary steps required to obtain these prospects.
Jane Hoffman ’25 will be spending her summer in Washington, D.C., as a campaign finance and development intern at Berger Hirschberg Strategies, a political consulting and fundraising firm. Hoffman is excited to learn more about how campaigns develop and navigate the American electoral framework.
Drink Local Drink Tap in Cleveland, Ohio is where Isabelle Kolleth ’24 will be interning. The company promotes water equity and clean water availability in Cleveland as well as throughout Uganda. Isabelle shares that through her courses at Grinnell she has learned a lot about water issues and is looking forward to learning more through her summer internship.
Meredith Neid ’24 is headed to Denver this summer to intern in City Council District 9, which is headed by Councilwoman Candi CdeBaca and represents 12 diverse neighborhoods. Neid will have a variety of duties including conducting policy-related research and writing.
Krasny Projects Private Limited, located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, does environmental and impact research. Parikshit Roychowdhury ’26 will intern at Kransy this summer. Coal mining in India heavily displaces the local villagers and there are limited laws in place to mitigate environmental damage. Chowdhury will be focusing on the effectiveness of the rehabilitation process for displaced villagers, the environmental damage compared to other mines in East India, and the safety standards in the mines around Asansol.
