Mentoring Lunch
- Students, faculty, and staff gather monthly for a topical and checking-in mentoring lunch and general support for the first-gen student community.
- Students can also request to be paired with a mentor through Associate Director of First-Generation and Low-Income Student Programs Maggie Bell.

Travel 101
- An event for FGLI (first-gen low-Income) students with the Institute for Global Studies and Office of Financial Aid.
- Senior and third-year students educate fellow students about the logistics of travel — offering tips on affording, surviving, and enjoying course-embedded travel, study abroad, and internships.
- Students, faculty, and staff.
- Provides mentoring and general support for the first-gen student community.
Low-Income Student Resources
Low-Income Lending Library
- Co-founded by Dean of Religious Life Deanna Shorb and QuestBridge student leaders in the fall of 2016. The first year, over 2,300 books were donated by peers.
- Located in the Center for Religion, Spirituality, and Social Justice (CRSSJ)
- The library now houses a collection of over 4,500 volumes available and growing.
- It also has academic supplies, including calculators, chemistry lab kits, and more.
Chaplain’s Office Student Food Pantry
Since 2017, the pantry has provided food for students in need of greater food security. It also has toiletries and some sheets and other personal items. A few cooking kits are available to check out.
Laptop Loaner Program
In the fall of 2019, the Laptop Loaning Program was developed in collaboration with the chief information officer of the College and the vice president of the Student Government Association. It is now administered through the Office of Financial Aid.
