Orestis Papaioannou is an assistant professor in the Psychology department. They are particularly interested in the neural mechanisms behind working memory and attention, as well as applying electrophysiological approaches to novel questions. From 2015 to 2021 they worked with Dr. Steve Luck studying neural markers of working memory. From 2021 to 2023 they worked as a postdoctoral scholar with Dr. Molly Erickson investigating cognitive deficits in people with psychosis and other mental health disorders.
