Larry Nace

Larry Nace began working for the Department of Campus Safety in 2011. He worked as a law enforcement officer, and has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, and security and emergency management services.

Officer Nace’s primary responsibility at Grinnell College is ensuring the safety of the campus community through patrol operations, incident response, and calls for service. Larry appreciates that the community climate at Grinnell College is a “melting pot” for all.

The department of Campus Safety, 641-269-4600, plans and implements safety operations, programs, and initiatives in support of the College’s mission and vision. Located on the corner of East Street and 10th Avenue, Campus Safety is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even when school is not in session.
