Rita Milner

I began my position in the Office of Financial Aid in October 2012. Prior to that, I worked for Verizon for 27 years. I'm very excited to be working for Grinnell! As the Financial Aid Assistant, my job is to be the first point of contact for students and other visitors, whether in person,  over the phone, or via email. I answer questions and schedule appointments as needed.  I also am responsible for reviewing and scanning all documents sent to the office.

I grew up in Brooklyn, Iowa, and graduated from Southeastern Academy Travel School in Kissimmee, FL. I moved back to Brooklyn, where I still live. I love spending time with family and friends, especially my two daughters and my grandsons, who live in Cedar Rapids. I also enjoy shopping and traveling.
