Andrew Kaufman

Andrew Kaufman received his Master of Fine Arts degree in 2002 from the University of South Florida in a studio art program that emphasized concept. Kaufman considers himself a convergent artist, letting idea dictate medium, which has led to a multiplicity of mediums that include video, sound, sculpture, performance, painting, and most recently working in medium and large format film photography.
He has exhibited widely around the world including at The Frist Center in Nashville, TN, Bemis Center in Omaha, NE, Hallways Contemporary Art Center, Buffalo, NY, Sushi Center for the Urban Arts, San Diego, CA, Museum of Contemporary Art in Taipei, Taiwan, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Art in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and Primo Piano Livingallery in Leece, Italy.
