Sonja Lindberg

Sonja Lindberg, the new Assistant Director of Off-Campus Study (OCS). In this role, Sonja will advise students about opportunities for studying away in the US and abroad, as well as provide guidance, before, during, and after their studies off-campus. Sonja also oversees all OCS events, and she welcomes ideas for ways to better serve students' OCS needs.

Sonja recently completed her PhD in Sociology at Iowa State University. In addition to teaching college-level sociology and conducting research, she spent seven years as a middle and high school teacher of social studies and English classes at international schools in Honduras, China, and Rwanda. In her spare time, Sonja enjoys traveling, mentoring young adults, and visiting her loved ones in the US and around the globe.
