Amanda Stout

Amanda Stout graduated with her BM in horn performance, BA in studio arts, and BA in arts management at the University of Iowa where she studied with Jeffrey Agrell. She received her MM in horn performance from Western Michigan University where she studied with Lin Foulk Baird and actively performed and taught in the area. Past teaching engagements have included Drake University, Culver-Stockton College, and Kirkwood Community College. Amanda currently serves as the Instructor of Brass at Central College as well. Amanda maintains an active freelancing career where she performs with the symphonies of Southeast Iowa, Ottumwa, Quincy, Waterloo-Cedar Falls, Dubuque, and Orchestra Iowa. She is the former 3rd horn of Symphony of the Lakes.
