Mrs. Edith Renfrow Smith visited Grinnell College this past weekend as part of Renfrow Hall Dedication Weekend. Take a look at her weekend and other exciting events through this photo series.

The Grinnell Chamber of Commerce hosted a free event for all Renfrow Hall students, which included some samples from local restaurants, a scavenger hunt of downtown businesses, and a Renfrow Hall student discount cards to use at local retailers and restaurants.

Every year, Professor Emerita of Mathematics Emily Moore recruits students to provide free tax services to Poweshiek families on behalf of VITA, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

Four local Poweshiek County students decided to remain in Grinnell, Iowa, for college, only a few miles away from home. 

The meeting gathered researchers from institutions across Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin for two days of lectures, research presentations, and fellowship.
