Younker Hall

Description

Younker Hall is one of the largest residence hall on campus. The lower level of Younker is home to the Stonewall Resource Center, which serves the campus' LGBTQ student organizations.

Younker Hall has 40 singles, 37 doubles, and a quad. It houses 118 students.

Amenities

Lounges

Younker Hall has four lounges. The main lounge is located on the first floor and has a television and piano, and there are smaller lounges on the other three floors.

Kitchens

Younker has four kitchens, one on each floor. Each kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, an oven, and a stove.

Storage

Younker uses the trunk room facilities located at Langan Hall.

Laundry

Younker has a laundry facility located in its pit. There are several washers and dryers that can be operated free of charge.

Computer Lab

A computer lab with printing facilities is located in Younker Pit. It has two Macs and six Windows workstations.

Recycling

A recycling facility is located on the first floor of Younker.

Air Conditioning

Younker offers heating and air conditioning.

Elevators

Younker is equipped with ADA-compliant elevators.

Younker Hall is a North Campus residence hall built in 1951 and named for Benjamin A. Younker.
