A gift from the late Jack Hanson '39 and Lucile Hanson '40 Harris has endowed annual competitive fellowships for early career faculty members at Grinnell. The fellowships provide awardees with a leave at full salary for one academic year and up to $8,000 in research/travel funds.

Beyond the events, the food, and the fun sponsored by the International Student Organization, ISO’s most important role is to create a home for international students at Grinnell.

The Norris Hall renovation project was a collaboration between Grinnell College, the Weitz Company, CPMI, and OPN Architects. Among the many alterations to Norris included the addition of new windows, a newly designed kitchen and lounge spaces. As well as new ADA rooms and adding an elevator to make the building accessible for all.
