Scholars' Convocation and Writers@Grinnell partner up to celebrate the book release of Grinnell College faculty members Dustin Dixon and John Garrison on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, at noon in the Joe Rosenfield '25 Center (JRC), Room 101.

Setting foot today in their first Grinnell College classrooms in itself will be an immense achievement for the class of 2025. The 472 first-year students — who arrived at Grinnell over the past two weeks from 46 different states and 31 countries — overcame numerous hurdles placed in front of them by the pandemic.

A roundtable with special alumni guests Emily Mester ’14 and Clare Mao ’14 is also on Thursday, Sept. 23, at 4:15 p.m., in Humanities and Social Studies Center (HSSC) Room S1325.
