Databases

The library subscribes to a number of new electronic databases. We invite you to check out our new offerings:

  • Art & Architecture Archive — 1895–2015. Full-text archive of over 65 international magazines, presented as searchable full-color page images, that cover fine art, art history, photography, decorative arts, interior design, graphic and industrial design, architecture, and more.
  • British Periodicals — This database offers access to the searchable full text of several hundred British periodicals from the late 17th century to the early 21st and provides high-resolution facsimile page images.
  • Education Magazine Archive — 1910–2015. Full-text archive of over two dozen international magazines aimed at teachers and other education professionals that chart the evolution of educational theory, policy, and practice.
  • National Theatre Collection — In collaboration with the National Theatre of Great Britain, this collection features streaming video of stage productions as well as archival materials and documents.
  • New Oxford Shakespeare — This online resource brings together three interconnected reference works to present a new consideration of the writings of William Shakespeare, edited from first principles from the base texts themselves and drawing on the latest textual and theatrical scholarship.
  • North American Indian Drama, Second Edition — An online database of nearly 250 plays, more than half of which are previously unpublished, by American Indian and First Nation playwrights of the 20th and 21st centuries.
