The Martha Graham Cracker Cabaret, featuring a tall, hairy drag queen with a supersonic voice and a four-piece backing band, will perform a wide array of music from Prince to Black Sabbath to Nina Simone to Crowded House. And everything in between.

Although the performance is free, tickets are required. Tickets will be available beginning Nov. 13 in the box office at the Bucksbaum Center for the Arts, 1108 Park St., Grinnell. The box office is open from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone reservations are not accepted, although interested individuals may call the box office at 641-269-4444 to check on ticket availability during open hours.

Performer Bio

Martha Graham Cracker will be played by Pig Iron Theatre Co. cofounder Dito van Reigersberg, who has been described by The Philadelphia Inquirer as “The Drag Queen King.” The Martha Graham Cracker Cabaret has performed in Philadelphia for more than 14 years and also played to sold-out rooms in New York City; Washington, D.C.; and Las Vegas, Nevada; among other cities.
