Jenny Zhang is a writer and poet. Her debut short story collection Sour Heart, published by Lenny/Random House in 2017, has received both the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize for Debut Fiction and the L.A. Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction. In addition to her fiction and poetry, Zhang’s essays have been published by The New York Times, Poetry Magazine, Rookie, and BuzzFeed. Her newest book is a poetry collection, My Baby First Birthday, just published by Tin House Books.

Tommy “Teebs” Pico is a poet, podcaster, and TV writer. He is author of the books IRL, Nature Poem, Junk, Feed, and myriad keen tweets including “sittin on the cock of the gay.” Originally from the Viejas Indian reservation of the Kumeyaay nation, he now lives in Los Angeles after a cute 13-year stint in New York. He co-curates the reading series Poets with Attitude, co-hosts the podcast Food 4 Thot and Scream, Queen!, is poetry editor at Catapult magazine, writes on the FX show Reservation Dogs, and is a contributing editor at Literary Hub.
