As political candidates and news media focus their attention on Iowa for next week’s Iowa caucuses, the climate change crisis is a frequent topic of discussion and debate. While most parties agree that climate change is an issue of great importance, finding the most efficient solution has proven to be a major challenge.

Renowned inventor and Otherlab founder and principal scientist Dr. Saul Griffith will speak in Des Moines on Friday, Jan. 31 about the path to solving climate change in the near future. Hosted by Grinnell College, Dr. Griffith’s presentation explains how committing to a ZERO CARBON energy solution will lead to lower energy costs for the consumer and for the country, while also improving the security and resiliency of the nation’s power grid.

The event is free, but seating is limited and reservations are recommended.
