Blind Date with a Book

Help the Grinnell College Libraries celebrate the month of February by choosing a book from our new Blind Date with a Book display on the main floor of the library.

Library experts have selected our most eligible books for you to choose from. Books and movies from an assortment of genres, departments, fiction, and non-fiction are wrapped in brown paper so patrons won't know what book or movie they've checked out until they get home. Sure, it might turn out to be a dud, or it could be the diamond in the rough you wouldn't have given a chance otherwise. There’s no knowing until you check it out...

If it’s not the book or movie for you, you can always return it with the "rate your date" card located inside the book and try again. No one’s feelings will be hurt!
