50 Years After Stonewall
What began as a police raid on the Stonewall Inn turned into a riot serving as a watershed moment for gay liberation and political activism as we know it.
The display located on Burling Library first floor celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising featuring books and media that explore themes of revolution, class, culture, identity, sexuality and representation.
This collection encourages reflection on the most recent fifty years of LGBT activism and community and hopes to further a belief that a better world is possible.
All materials displayed are available for checkout.
