175th Anniversary of Grinnell College Exhibit in Burling

An exhibit celebrating the 175th anniversary of Grinnell College is now on display in the lower level of Burling Library. Student workers in Special Collections and Archives curated the exhibit, which spans seven display cases and includes documents and artifacts from the College’s history.

Initially founded as Iowa College in 1846, Grinnell College has educated students for 175 years. Throughout the 175 years, the college has undergone many changes and endured many historical events. Throughout it all, Grinnell has preserved.
