Build a Better Grinnell 2030 (BABG 2030) has received a grant of $197,153 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Placemaking Innovation Challenge. These funds will support the mission of the BABG 2030 project: to identify and prioritize community needs as well as resources, assets, and partners to guide community development and quality-of-life improvement over the next decade. 

Grinnell College President Anne F. Harris will serve on the Capital Crossroads Advisory Council leading the development of the 2040 regional vision plan. Harris - I write today to share the sad news of the passing on Saturday of one of our College’s most remarkable members: President Emeritus and Professor Emeritus George Drake ’56. For the great many Grinnellians who knew George Drake, this news will bring great sadness.
