Mission Statement
The Grinnell Magazine is published three times a year for alumni, students, parents, faculty, and friends of the College by the Office of Communications and Marketing. Stories for the magazine are selected to demonstrate a range of opinions and activities on campus and provide news about the College and its alumni.
Accessing Past Stories Online
In fall 2024, the College’s magazine website hosting provider discontinued support for the software that had run the magazine website since about 2016. Magazine content will now be posted as part of the College’s News site.
Visit the Grinnell Magazine page to view articles from past issues available online.
Concurrent with the website transition, Office of Communications and Marketing staff are exploring a partnership with Grinnell Archives and Digital Grinnell staff to create a new Grinnell Magazine digital collection that can be built over time. More information will be provided when available.
Class Notes
Alumni are invited to email the class notes editor to share news with classmates about awards, promotions, family milestones, and more.
Class notes are published on a rolling basis in the next available issue. Magazine issues are typically distributed in fall (November/December), spring (March/April), and summer (July/August). Class notes production for each issue closes approximately eight weeks prior to publication.
